Last post

This is it- the new blog is taking over. Very soon, I'll be taking all of this down- all the entries are moved over. It's time to move on, grow up and most of all, continue geeking out. Come and see me some time.

It's like leaving home.........

or starting a new relationship. I've spent a bit of time ironing out issues with wordpress and sorting it out today. It seems to be going ok now.

So my next big step will be to decide the fate of this blog- transfer, abandon, or delete?

I'm giving myself two weeks or so to see if it is really me.

So have a look, comment and listen to my twaddle- just in a different template.

Not lost

Posting over at my word press blog- I haven't taken all the 700+ blogger entries over, because I'm not sure I want to be stuck with it. I'm going to give it a week or two, meanwhile, I might look at the alternatives.

There are reasons I want to use it (server based, cleaner, sleeker, more flexible, blogs I respect use it) but there are an increasing number of reasons I don't (spell check plugin doesn't work, tmeplates look tricky, multiple blogs is tricky)

Sin City and abandoning my blog

We saw Sin City this morning- it rocked. It rocked so much!
We had brekky with Frank, Oreon and Tony and then went off to the movie. I’m beginning to like this habit of Sunday breakfast and nerd film with tthe gymps.

I've spent the rest of the day installing WP and fiddling wiht the layout- it seems sleek, very managble and a lot easier than I thought. There might be a little bit of fiddling while I get around to templating/ rejigging the design etc.

Long Week

It's been a long, stresstful and depressing week at work. While I don't feel great- some red wine and lamb shanks, along with Black books and Adult Swim seem to put it al in perspective.

Happy birthday Frank (late)

We had Frank's birthday party last night (6 days after the actual event). It was a pirate party, and was great fun. Two roaring Braziers in the backyard, mountains of delicious food, gallons of beez neez, mulled wine and home brew. And some crazy costumes.

I have work to do, but will post photos later.....
