Merry Christmas and all that

Contrary to popular rumor, I did not disappear after a Christmas party related incident, nor have I relaxed myself to death. I am definately here- but I think I’m already over Christmas. I’m not trying to be a Grinch- but buying and making presents has not been as much fun this year; I didn’t get to see or catch up with as many people as I would have liked. Nor have I acheived much in my 10 days or so off so far- unless you count Christmas shopping, writing Christmas cards and spending far too much money on miscellaneous stuff like cars and my hair and the like.
The good thing is I’ve seen a few movies, drunk a bit, helped win a trivia night and have spent some time with family. The family/ food/ booze fest is on for the next few days- hopefully followed by New Year’s , a much more civilised holiday……
Despite my current misgivings of the season- I hope the time you spend with yours is happy, relaxing and rewarding.
