Like many other projects before, I started with the best of intentions- but somehow couldn’t follow through. Sometime after I came back from Japan in September, the wheels had fallen off. Somehow my pics for the 365 project today only add up to 176- that’s not even one for every second day. 

The year is over and rather than admit failure, I’m going to give it another try. This is the last for 07-08

July pics

Last year I was worried about quality, creativity, following through, missing days. This year, I’m just doing it, not just as a way of making myself focus, but as a way of journalling. If I make every day, great! If not, there will be another day and another photograph.

As my blog entries get further and further apart- at least these will give you an insight into what is happening in my life, if not my head.

And so, here’s to new beginnings.

A bit of an update- rather than a gazillion entries. I’ve been busy, sick and generally tired. In a way I’ve been a little concerned about how this project is coming along and what it is revealing about my life, my focus and my art. Many of the shots are not great and in a way, don’t want to associate with my art, they are more a recording of my everyday life.
I seem to have an obsession with food (go figure!) and it’s often the only ‘different’ thing about my day.
To improve I’ve been setting a theme- since Wednesday, I’ve been using red as a theme. Next week it will be something new.

Despite my misgivings, but check out the latest shots anyway.
